Glow Theatre Group is an exciting independent drama project for young people aged between 8 and 14!

Get On Stage!
At Glow, we give children as many opportunities as possible to get up on stage and perform! We stage a number of full length plays each year, as well as taking in part in festivals and competitions, so our members are always working towards their next performance.

Glow Theatre Group productions are fun, entertaining and high quality – children are coached and encouraged, often on a one-to-one basis, and given the skills to help them perform to the best of their ability. The training given at Glow is of a consistently high standard, so that whichever role they are taking on in the current production, they will be well equipped to perform it to their audience.

We are delighted to be developing an excellent relationship with the Barn Theatre, which provides a fantastic venue for our children to show off their skill and talent in a proper theatrical setting!

Glow Theatre Group aims to produce excellent performances, and, through this, Glow children will discover the fun of performance, and the sense of achievement that comes from being a part of a success. Our rehearsals are great fun, but the emphasis is also on learning and developing as a performer, so each rehearsal is very carefully structured.

Glow Theatre Group scripts are selected to fit the dynamics of the current membership, and to bring out the best in each child. Glow selects shows that are fun to be in, are entertaining for the audience, and provide a stimulus to challenge and develop the children’s dramatic skills.
