The Southern Counties Drama Festival - 2011 Adjudicator - Jill Colby L.G.S.M. G.o.D.A.

The adjudicator for the 2011 festival will be Jill Colby L.G.S.M. G.o.D.A. Jill has worked in the professional theatre for nearly 30 years both as actor and director, working with several generations, from Vivian Leigh to Richard Griffiths and from John Gielgud to Howard Davies.

Adjudication became a natural progression from her interest in training actors, on which she now mainly concentratesShe has been attached to three London drama schools, the most recent being E15 Acting School, with many successful graduates being seen regularly on television film and in our major theatre companies. Jill has adjudicated at all levels of the All-England Theatre Festival including the English, Scottish and Irish finals and been a member of the G.o.D.A. council on several occasions being part of the examining panel for prospective adjudicators.

She is also an examiner for Trinity Guildhall travelling widely both in the U.K. and the Far East and is also looking forward to working in Australia in the autumn.
